Stand Up Comedy

(Just a heads up that I’m mostly bragging on this page, there’s nothing actually funny here. Would you rather see my funny videos? Okay, see below for how great I am.)

“It’s a constant game to discover the future of comedy. The one jokesmith who will lead us from the current tragic age into an unknowable and therefore better future. Max Goldberg is the present of comedy. A consummate, savvy self starter and media maven, he’s not waiting on anyone else to make him a success.” – Boston Weekly Dig

“The next Jay Leno.” – Boston Globe

I’ve been actively engaged in professional comedy for fourteen years, focusing primarily in live stand-up comedy and web video. My extensive list of live performances have included national festivals, universities, and major comedy clubs around the world. My original web comedy content has garnered many millions of views.

“Afterwards, over a dozen students waited to talk to Max: for an apathetic campus I was astonished. I highly recommend working with Max, we are looking at booking him again for next year’s comedy series and look forward to welcoming him back to our campus!” – Fort Lewis College

“Max Goldberg filled up the house with 380 students with a normal of 200 students. …Max Goldberg’s performance has been one of the best performers in Embry-Riddle that BCA has brought. Students requested to bring him back in the fall semester because he was never dull and kept the crowed laughing throughout the night. …I would recommend Max Goldberg to any campus that is looking for an awesome fun time.” – Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University

“Max was extremely easy to work with, and has gotten wonderful reviews on campus. I would highly recommend working with him and bringing him to your campus for an evening of great entertainment.” – Johnson & Wales University

“As a featured comic at the 2010 North Carolina Comedy Arts Festival, Max Goldberg was a professional. Max was great with the crowd, consistently funny and he took the work seriously, both onstage and offstage. I’m excited to see more from Max in the next few years. You should be too.” – North Carolina Comedy Arts Festival

“The entire audience, ranging from children to elderly Holocaust Survivors, all enjoyed his presence on and off stage. We are proud to say that Max contributed to his very successful event and fundraiser for the museum. We would highly recommend him to perform for your organization.” – Los Angeles Museum of the Holocaust

Not that this affects how funny I am in any way, but I like throwing around that I proudly attended Emerson College in Boston, which is also true of Jay Leno, Dennis Leary, Stephen Wright, David Cross, Mario Cantone, and Laura Kightlinger. Again, this means nothing. I warned you at the beginning that this page wasn’t funny. Don’t blame me for you how you feel right now.
