Last week I had a lovely moment.
I was thinking about forgiveness. It’s useful and beautiful to me that the verb “forgive” has two meanings.
Usually it means, “to stop being angry or resentful towards someone,” but in finance it also means “to cancel a debt.”
So remember, when you forgive someone for an offense, mistake, or flaw, you are also freeing yourself from debt to that person.
You are saying, “I no longer owe you.”
So yeah, that was a lovely little moment.Leave a Comment
